This week's Jordan 1 release sees the brand take a step toward sustainability with the release of the ‘Zoom Space Hippie'. The sneakers are packed with environmentally friendly elements to ensure you are not only looking fresh but protecting the planet too.
The sneaker is crafted mostly from a sustainable charcoal canvas upper with a contrasting white and multicoloured sole. The shoe also features exposed red stitching on the heel, a design aspect that we have seen previously on the hugely successful Union Jordan 1's. A zoom tab features just below the wings logo on the ankle of the silhouette.
The top of the sneaker and the tongue have exposed foam, a look made famous with Virgil Abloh's Off-White collaborations previously.
Nike's GRIND initiative produces the midsole of the sneaker, constructed from rubber scraps. The white outsole is made up of recycled plastic too.
If you are looking to add a fresh pair of Jordans to the rotation and want to keep it sustainable, this is the sneaker for you.
